I made these two cards using the same materials, except I changed the colors slightly and gave them different sentiments.
All of the papers used are from the DCWV "The Luxury Stack" pearlized and metallic hues. They're quite elegant and lovely and give off some a great sheen. I stitched the edges with the sewing machine and frayed them with my Tim Holtz frayer tool. Next, I cut the background frame from my Cricut "Joys of the Season" cartridge, and cut the bird from my Cricut "Heritage" cartridge. I added these shapes to the cards and then embellished with lavender seam binding, handmade trinket pins, and mulberry paper flowers from Recollections (I also added gray embroidery thread to the second card to meet the color requirements for the following challenge).
