A House and Silhouette

The background cardstock for this card comes from the DCWV "Mod-Retro"Stack and the "home is't where the heart is" phrase is already printed on the cardstock.  So I cropped this to fit the card.  Then I cut the shapes of the house from two other paper patterns from the same house, and used a Marvy heart punch to cut the heart on the house.  I wrapped the house with red embroidery thread and tied it with a button.  I added a button to the "o" in home and added red embroidery twine to the button.  The blue women silhouette I cut from the "Mainstreet" Stack by DCWV...they actually have several patterns of cardstock in the pack that are silhouettes!  I added a red fabric flower, and attached the silhouette and house with 3D foam to add dimension.

I'm entering this card in two challenges:
City Crafter Challenge #68 http://citycrafter.blogspot.com/.  For this challenge, you had to include "house" in your project.  This challenge ends Aug. 8.

Also, the Scrapbook Sisters Card Challenge #46 http://scrapbooksisters.blogspot.com/2011/08/card-challenge-no-46.html.  For this challenge you're to include a silhouette.  I'm not sure when this challenge ends, but it was posted Aug. 3.

Enjoy!
